Vigil for Johnathan Corrie

Jonathan Corrie, a father of two died, frozen on the steps of an old Georgian building almost at the steps of Dáil Éireann. The image of a homeless man passing away in such close proximity to the country's policy makers brought mourners and protesters to the gates of Irish government. Around the gates somber and quiet sadness radiated from small candles lit by those who sought to remember him, to illuminate the shadowed areas cast by a city's neglect.
